I've seen many strange things at live shows, perhaps none stranger than front address dynamic microphones slung over guitar cabs to point directly at the floor! Side address microphones like Sennheiser's e906 would be better suited for this cable hung application, but is there something to this off-axis technique I'm missing? Let's investigate...
