Amanda is reduced to tears by the sheer beauty of Monument Valley and I'm pretty sure I can also see a glimmer in the eyes of Thomas Heaton. This landscape photography paradise is an ever changing tableau as the light weaves it's way through monument valley. One minute there's a killer composition to the left and then it's gone in a heartbeat to be replaced by a spectacular display of light in a totally different direction. At first, I struggle with the wide-angle lens but as soon as I strap on the 400-800mm it becomes clear where the best compositions are. Why have I never tasted fresh pine nuts before and what's in the speccy snacks today? There's really only one way to find out.
