Pulling him backwards was the most risky and dangerous, so Alex utilized Big Flipper's strength to do a horizontal pull to get him back to the freeway. Luckily Alex had a break from CHP to clear one lane for us here, which is more than we're used to. With trees in the front, a tree stuck underneath and a major busy freeway on each side, there really wasn't a simple way to do this. Alex went for a double pull for the initial tug, combining the deck winch and a boom line for the straightest pull. Once he got it close, he was able to use the boom to get each side up on over to level ground. Unfortunately, the driver had a medical emergency after this job and his truck was recovered by another tow company. Even more unfortunate, the driver for that company decided to spread false rumors that Alex "let a drunk driver go". I get that Pepe's is well known and the jealousy factor comes into play, but what an odd and disturbing thing to spread. As you can see from this video, even CHP on scene cleared the guy after he got stuck. Either way, hope you guys enjoyed this quick video! What did you guys think of this situation?
