This Sierra storm cycle was completely relentless. The snow just kept stacking up and the taps didn’t turn off for a second. Palisades Tahoe completely closed down because there was TOO MUCH SNOW. Then one day later… the storm cleared. Blue skies rolled in and Palisades finally reopened. I spent the day riding the legendary KT-22 chair, watching one of the most iconic powder shows in skiing unfold. It was busy. It was chaotic. I made all the wrong decisions.
