Sweetwater Drums

Video Description
After reacting to this performance, a lot of you pointed something out…
First — I got called out (rightly so).
This track was originally played by John Rutsey — not Neil Peart.
Lesson learned. I’ll take that one.
But that sent me back to the performance — and I wanted to hear it differently.
I couldn’t find a proper isolated drum track anywhere… so I made one.
And honestly… this changes everything.
When you strip everything back, you really hear what Anika Nilles is doing:
the time is rock solid
the control is ridiculous
the fills absolutely slam
and there’s even a proper cowbell section in there… MORE COWBELL
This is one of those performances that somehow gets even more impressive when you remove everything else.
